  1. The Accelerated Object Beam is a high powered weapon that works similarly to the Mass Driver with one distinct advantage, it actually sends projectiles into hyperspace before they hit their targets. Chunks of metal rapidly heat to the point that they begin to glow as they travel through the hulls of opposing ships at unbeievable speeds. Unfortunently the Accelerated Object Beam Cannon begins to unsafe temperatures itself after a few seconds and requires cooling. Large amounts of fuel are also consumed during this time, often enough to send a Starship into hyperspace.
